Where colour begins
Inside the studio, where process is as compelling as the final work.

The canvas begins long before the first brushstroke. In the studio, colour gathers in jars, on fingertips, and along the edges of yesterday’s unfinished work.
Here, each layer holds a memory of the one beneath it. The artist does not erase these traces; she lets them become a record of attention.
The finished image is only one part of the story. What remains visible is a practice of looking closely, revising freely, and trusting the unexpected.
“The finished image is only one part of the story.”
